Wij, Tonia en Bert wonen in Zoetermeer. Zijn al jaaaaren getrouwd en sinds wij beiden zijn gepensioneerd hobbyen we maar een eind weg. Fotograferen en motorrijden hebben wij eigenlijk altijd wel gedaan. Trouwens dat doen we nog steeds.

Sindsdien zijn wij, met enige korte tussenpozen, heel actief met de motorhobby, want zo hebben wij dat altijd ervaren, bezig.

Hoe is het begonnen? Op 17 sept. 1961 werd onze dochter Brigitte geboren. Wij, apetrots...! Toen werd eigen vervoer voor ons een noodzaak. Vandaar een tweedehands motor. Een auto was voor ons financieel nog totaal onbereikbaar! Ook hadden wij toen nog geen idee wat dat in de toekomst nog voor onze familie zou gaan betekenen!!! Intussen rijden onze dochter en schoonzoon Gerrit-Jan sinds 2003 beiden ook motor! En als klap op de vuurpijl rijden nu ook onze kleindochter Tosca en haar man Marcel beiden motor! Dus nu hebben we al 3 generaties op de motor!

Inmiddels is ons eerste achterkleinkind Johan 1 jaar geworden. We zijn benieuwd of dat ook een motorrijder gaat worden??!! Het eerste begin is er al (zie foto).

We, Tonia and Bert live in Zoetermeer in the Netherlands. Being happily married for years and years... We are both pensioners now and do hobby a lot. Taking pictures and motorcycling we've done all our life. By the way we are still doing that.

From that moment on with short intervals we are, very active with the motorcycle hobby, because that's the way we always experienced it.

How did it start? On sept. 17th 1961 our doughter Brigitte was born. We, proud as a peacock...! Then our own transport became a necessity. That's why we bought a secondhand motorcycle. At that time a car was not an option for us financially! Nor had we any idea what this could mean in the future for our family!!! In the meantime our doughter and son in law Gerrit-Jan ride their own motorcycles since 2003! And to our big surprise our granddoughter Tosca and her husband Marcel now both also ride their own motorcycles! So now we have already 3 generations on a motorcycle. It really became a family affair!!!

In the meantime our greatgrandson Johan became 1 year of age. We are curious whether he will become a motorcyclist too??!! Perhaps this is the beginning (see the photo).
